Day 244 – Week 36 – 36 mins (38)

Ok – tried a new tactic today, which actually resulted in me unwittingly doing MORE minutes than I was supposed to. That’s the first time that’s happened!

So here it is…

When going for a run in the park, take your boyfriend with you!

We both had the day off today, so I convinced him to come to the park with me. And while he wasn’t interested in running, he went for a nice stroll, while I ran away for a couple of minutes, then ran back, then away again, back again etc.

And the upshot was – I got so distracted by all the tooing and frooing I lost track of time and before I knew it, I’d done more than I should have. Result!

Now – I just have to convince him to come with me early in the mornings before work!

Day 243 – Week 35 – 35 mins (1)

So much for the good work yesterday. Back down to one minute today. I was knackered after last night’s festivities – and no amount of talking to myself could get me motivated to do a full session.

This means the total minutes for the week are 128, and average of 18ish minutes – well down on last week.

It’s disappointing, but I guess to be expected at this time of the year. What keeps me going is knowing that this time last year, I as averaging 0 minutes per week – so that is at least an improvement!

Day 242 – Week 35 – 35 mins

Oooh it was tough this morning, but I knew that if I didn’t get out early, there was no chance of me getting any exercise done at all.

So, despite the threatening rain, I gave it a go, and managed my 35 minutes.

The rest of the day was spent cooking Christmas dinner for eight, and entertaining until 3.00 in the morning. Like I said – if I didn’t do it early – there was no chance.

Day 241 – Week 35 – 35 mins (1)

Ok – it’s the morning after the corporate Christmas party – 3,500 people in a huge marquee, unlimited food and alcohol, music, dancing…..and then the usual trek across London to get home sometime before dawn.

Enough said.

A pathetic one minute on the bosu.

Day 240 – Week 35 – 35 mins (20)

I was a bit pressed for time today (who isn’t once you get to December?) so just managed to fit in 20 mins of stretching and strengthening.

But I will make up for it with many minutes on the dance floor at the corporate Christmas party!
