Day 25 – Week 4 – 4 mins
Aha – the push up idea is spreading. One of my near and dear has decided he likes the idea of the pushup challenge as well. And as he has underfloor heating in the bathroom, he has decided that is the best place to partake in this particular form of exercise. I can see that being a reasonable incentive for keeping on with the push up challenge in the winter, when it is that much harder to get out of bed.
He says he did his four push ups this morning without it costing a great deal of effort, and is well primed to do more as our weeks progress. Lets hope the enthusiasm continues!
As for me – 4 minutes on the bosu and all is well and right with the world. I love knowing that I never need worry about having to form an exercise plan again, as it is all in hand and I am on track. Each day just seems to take care of itself now, as long as I get myself out of bed and into those exercise clothes. After that it is easy. Believe me – that really is the hard part. And you should listen to me, because I HATE EXERCISE, and somehow, I seem to be doing it! How about you? Are you struggling to do this each and every morning? If so – let us know what it is that is stopping you. I’ll bet we can find a way around that particular excuse or resistance, and make it happen.

Day 23 – Week 4 – 4 mins
Four minutes on the bosu this morning, and I think I may have snuck down to 147 pounds. As I have said, my scales aren’t so easy to read, so it’s all a bit approximate – which is probably a good thing. This is not about getting obsessed by weight. I am just fascinated to find out at what point the exercise starts making a difference.
We have a new convert to the oneminute+ system – though with a bit of a variation. Mareike (see her comment on Day 22) is joining us, but instead of doing one minute+ of exercises, she is going to do one pushup+. She’s jumping in to where we are at now and doing four pushups each day, and will add a push up a week until she can do 52. I’m highly impressed and think this is a great way to join in.
Any other takers? Or any other innovative ways to work with us? We’d love to hear from you….
