Day 134 – Week 20 – 20 mins
There is one problem with this exercise business which is becoming increasingly apparent. I am HUNGRY all the time! Well, a lot hungrier than I used to be – and of course, that is not a good state to be in at work when you haven’t had the foresight to bring a pile of healthy snacks with you.
What do you do? You eat rubbish of course. And what is the point of all this exercise if you then go and eat half a tray of baklava that some nice work colleague from the Middle East has brought into the office!
I can see some serious food organisation is going to have to take place if this is going to continue…
Twenty minutes of strength and stretching today, with no serious incidents…

Day 129 – Week 19 – 19 mins
A good morning on the bosu this morning before work, and that dratted exercise out of the way for the rest of the day. Just the way I like it.
I finally got a new battery for my heart rate monitor watch, and it makes all the difference. I have been without it for several weeks now, and it’s just not the same. The best thing about keeping an eye on your heart rate is you realise when you need to slow down and take it easy. Hey – you won’t hear any complaints from me when the watch tells me I’m working too hard. I’m only too happy to slow it down.

Day 126 – Week 18 – 18 mins
Got up. Did strength minutes. Had a shower. Made a cup of tea and got back into bed.
A perfect Sunday morning.

Day 120 – Week 18 – 18 mins
120 days – that’s pretty much four months. Am I svelte, full of energy and 60kgs or below yet? Mmmm….seems not quite yet. Nothing for it but to keep going and hope I hit that tipping point sometime soon.
Did a good solid 18 minutes strength workout today, to make up for yesterday’s sad performance. It’s getting increasingly challenging to come up with something to add as my extra minute each week, so I got out a couple of exercise books I had for inspiration. And now – I have lots of idea to keep me going. Of course, remembering them all is a little more of a challenge….

Day 118 – Week 17 – 17 mins
It’s the last day of having visitors in the house today – so once again, decided it was better to go for a run at work rather than try and fit it in first thing in the morning. I am quite looking forward to being able to return to my living room, strength exercises and bosu.
I found the run a bit of a struggle today – perhaps because I had done it two days in a row, or it may just have been the warm weather outside. But still – lovely to get out and about in the middle of the day. Even better – after a shower – I got to sit down to a lunch of well-deserved left over curry from the night before.
