Day 315 – Week 47 – 47 mins (5)
I really tried today – and I had no excuses, as I was not at work.
But despite getting myself dressed into my exercise gear and putting on the headphones, when it came down to it, I just didn’t have the heart to do my stretching and strengthening.
I didn’t seem to have the power either – my body felt like lead.
I stuck with it for five minutes, and then, I am ashamed to say, I wimped out completely.
Here’s hoping that rush of enthusiasm will return tomorrow…

Day 313 – Week 47 – 47 mins (25)
‘Tis Spring. And the sun was shining.
It was shining so brightly, I decided to go for a run during my lunch hour at work.
Unfortunately, by the time you get yourself changed, go down the lifts and out into the great outdoors – there is not a great deal of time before you need to come back, pick up some lunch on the way, wait for someone to come out of the only shower on your floor, and get yourself respectable enough to sit down next to other people. But still – I managed 25 minutes, and that’s not bad on an eleven hour working day.

Day 312 – Week 46 – 46 mins (5)
Very early start at work today – which is a Sunday mind you – so nothing but an obligatory five minutes of stretching and strengthening, just to show I’d made an effort.
I made up for it, though, with the agitated pacing I did at the bus stop, after the bus I needed to catch to work came past two minutes EARLY and I saw it from the corner, but knew I wouldn’t make it on time. NOT much fun when it is really cold and pouring with rain.
The buses don’t come past too often at 7.00am on a Sunday, so I paced, and muttered, and curses as much and as fast as I could for a good twenty minutes.
Not the best start to the day….
