Day 306 – Week 46 – 46 mins (46)

Ahhhhh…what bliss to be home for the day.

I have now had my brain thoroughly washed and rinsed, all pathways have been rewired for success, and have felt the fear and done it anyway. The least I could do was a proper exercise session this morning.

Taking my time, I worked my way through my entire 46 minute stretching and strengthening routine, enjoying getting back into something resembling normality. Now – if we could just stop the rain in London I might be able to get out for a run sometime this week…

Day 305 – Week 45 – 45 mins (1)

Even more knackered this morning. Not a chance of me doing anything more than the bare minimum this morning….

And anyway -with the amount of ‘high-fiving’ I’ve had to do to total strangers over this weekend, I’m expecting to see a marked improvement in every muscle in my arms, so there’s no need for ANY conventional exercise…..

Day 304 – Week 45 – 45 mins (1)

As expected – I was knackered this morning as I did my one minute and then got myself out the door to get to the other side of London.

Though I guess I managed a bonus 15 minute walk in the freezing cold, due to the wonders of the London transport system, which sees at least half of the underground train lines shut down for engineering work on a weekend….

Day 303 – Week 45 – 45 mins (1)

OK. This is the situation.

For three days I’m on one of those high-five, all screaming, all dancing, very American self-improvement courses that goes from 7.00 in the morning until 11.00 in the evening, so that you are so exhausted by the end of it you sign up to all their future courses for the next five years and promise them your first born child – you know the ones!

So apart from some walking on coals and jigging about to high-octane 80’s music and the theme tune from Rocky in a crowded conference room, I am really not going to be doing any exercise.

One minute a day is going to be it, just so I can tick the boxes.

Day 302 – Week 45 – 45 mins (35)

Well – that was a whole lot better today – but so it should be, given I didn’t have to be anywhere at any specific time.

It was a beautiful misty morning, the rain having stopped for the first time in a couple of days, so I was breathing in the fresh air as I jogged around the park.

But alas – I just didn’t have the ‘get up and go’ to do my full quota of 45 minutes. But I reckon 35 isn’t a bad effort really…
