Day 276 – Week 41 – 41 mins
Whoo hoo…I’m on a role now.
I have exercised 122 minutes in the last three days, and I am well pleased.
The thing is – its just NOT that hard, once you get started. But man, you need a lot of will power for that getting started bit.
Last night I didn’t sleep well, so I was not happy when my alarm went off. I couldn’t just jump out of bed and go running straight away, because I had to wait for it to get light – but I did have to get up and do all my other morning jobs, so that I could get myself showered and off to work straight after my run – the sky was grey – I could SO easily have just turned over and not gone.
But fortunately, the motivation gods appear to be with me this week, so I summonsed up the courage (images of Haitians trapped in rubble reminding me of what courage really is!!) and got myself out there.
But tomorrow – well – tomorrow the snow may be back….so it may all go to pot.

Day 275 – Week 41 – 41 mins (41)
Oh, I’m very proud of myself this morning.
I got myself up at 6.00am, and did myself a full 41 minutes of stengthening and stretching. I didn’t even consider doing less than the full amount.
This is the kind of enthusiasm I need every day, so if I only I can remember the feeling when I start flagging….
Here’s to keeping going tomorrow…..I just have to remember…this is the final stretch….
