Day 141 – Week 21 – 21 mins
Added one more minute to my strength routine today – deciding to go for some calf raises. Calf raises are something I have always been a little frightened of, due to the fact that for many years I haven’t really liked my calves. I’ve always thought they were too big, and I blamed it on years and years of ballet, where I worked them really hard, and then stopped!
But since doing this exercise challenge, I have found I have come to like my calves a little bit. Somehow they seem to have tightened up slightly, and gained a little definition. So, I’m hoping that adding some calf raises to the routine WON’T cause them to get even bigger (that’s what I’ve always been afraid of) but will just make them a little more beautiful….
