Day 20 – Week 3 – 3 mins

And now, the last morning at the house has finally come, and later today we are on our way back home and gearing up for work again.

It has been a lovely trip, with some of the most amazing scenery you can imagine.

I did my three minutes with the resistance strap, and then packed away the exercise clothes. I am really proud of myself for doing my minutes while I have been here on this trip, because I know that in any normal circumstances I wouldn’t have done it. It is just far too easy to come up with excuses why you shouldn’t do it when you are on holiday. It hardly seems worth it when you are drinking and eating more than usual, you think “I’ll start again when I get home”, or you are just defeated by the practicalities of it all.

But I am living proof it can be done with a timer, a resistance strap and a pair of decent shoes. Even if it is only three minutes, just knowing you have got up and done it, gives you a rush of pride that lasts all day!

I’m quite looking forward to getting back to the bosu when I’m home tomorrow morning.

Suzi – good for you to being committed. I have not been as committed and have been hit and miss. More miss than hit, but you do inspire me. I looked at the bosu and am considering it but don’t want it to be another tool I purchase but never use. Thanks for your dedication and persistance.
